Bugger.

[ A pause because, oh, yes, that would be the button that turns the blasted thing on. Well... we can only hope that there is a delay between Yusuf's annoyed mouthing off at the little piece of technology and it actually turning on. He's holding it much too close to his mouth and, as such, his voice is unaccountably loud for the calm way he asks, ]

If anyone can hear me, would you be so kind as to let me know?

[ The sound of the device being turned over and over in his hands. Hopefully he won't accidentally click it off... ]

Honestly... this is hardly intuitive...

[ ooc: new, fresh meat, etc. not cursed, just confused! ]

That... is not what I wanted to hear at all.

Is there a way to stop bothering everyone?

I don't think you're bothering anyone.

Ah, well then I suppose this kind of thing is expected?

Generally, yes. It's a public network. No one checks it unless they want to.

Or unless they want to find out what their device has done today.

Ah, at least that much is a reassurance.

And, that not so much. Do these things usually take on minds of their own?
synanthrope: (Saya - consideration)

[personal profile] synanthrope 2011-09-12 05:45 am (UTC)(link)
Sometimes. Usually when you don't want them to. But intentional posts are more common.

Brilliant. [ Yusuf looks at the small device in his hand, inconspicuous enough and yet, obviously not. ] Bloody brilliant.

Do I have any control in turning it off?
synanthrope: (Saya - dark eyes)

[personal profile] synanthrope 2011-09-12 05:53 am (UTC)(link)
Yes. You can turn it off at any time. I usually put it in a separate room while I sleep or have sex, though.
