[ Muttering about time and the coinciding of the start of the month with this sudden influx-- there is a pause as he considers whether he really wants to make this a public announcement or if he wants to wander The City by himself.

Why not make use of the hundreds of eyes at his disposal? ]

I assume that everyone has their hands full, so I will make this brief. If anyone happens to spy a chubby grey tabby with yellow eyes, or an all white cat with green eyes, would you please contact me?

I am glad you like that alternative. [ Smiling down at the little rumbling feline in his arms, Yusuf opens the doors to Building 11 with his hip and heads toward the elevator. Since she first showed up on Yusuf's doorstep, she has only ever surmounted piles of books and the occasional shelf to play with vials that she knows she shouldn't. He can only hope she reacts well to the elevator, as there is no way in hell Yusuf is going to trek up 9 flights of stairs. ]

Though I suggest you play nice with Pancake when we get there. [ More pets as the elevator makes its way down to the lobby. ] After all, he has seniority.

[ The clawing is pretty much par for the course since cat + new experiences can only lead down one of two paths: confusion or disaster. From the look on Rhada's face, its the former with a dash of anxious questioning if it should have been the latter. The elevator deposits them on the 9th floor before she has a chance to change her mind.

Heading down to the flat, Yusuf lets himself in with attention to any snuffling that might signal Pancake's presence at the door. He's pretty good at letting anyone inside know if someone is at the door- his whole body wagging with excitement. ]

[ Yusuf indicates the cat in his arms, as if saying take it up with management. ]

[ Not like it's much of a battle, anyway. They don't even have a papasan. ]

[ Eames calls from the kitchen, using his brand new cane to hobble himself out to see Yusuf, brow raising. Pancake is tangled up between his bare feet, though both his attention and the dog's are quickly swept up with the feline in Yusuf's arms. ]

Rhada would manage to inject herself down here just to be fed.

[ Shutting the door behind him, Yusuf readjusts his hold on Rhada- not quite knowing how she will react to the scritch-scratch clattering of Pancake's nails on the floor or his presence at all, for that matter. The look Yusuf gives Eames is one of insurmountable pride, like Rhada has accomplished some great feat in finding him down here.

He hasn't had a chance to think on whether her presence is a good or a bad thing- or, if it will be continued past this weekend. ]

[There is some strange cat sense at work here. She knows instinctively that this man will feed her (if she were, in fact, in cat form. Well. Maybe not. She's a lion.) Anyway]

No, it's pretty unusual, and very deviated. We're a curse.

Oh no, you've lost your cats? Try taking a shirt that you wear a lot- or, like, even an undershirt would be better- and put it in a trap with something like sardines- Oh, unless they're males, they probably should avoid fish, but they're better as far as strong scent- in a bowl, and keep it out only in the morning or at least when it's light out, it should attract them, although it'll be harder with two of them, and I'd suggest picking them up, but even if they're completely social and lap-cats once they roam outside they're liable to become a little hostile.

[ Still, the important thing here is that Yusuf has found Rhada, and a happy Yusuf makes a pleased Eames. It's nothing to thumb his nose about. ]
