[ Eames has a flat in the Underground nowadays to disappear to on days he's too restless for anything else, but he's come to like it too much to offer up for a business endeavour. And he doesn't like inviting anyone into the rowhouse, much less a would-be client. ]

the question is not if he knows it exists, it is how he understands it exists. legitimizing a technology that started as a less than savoury government program would be simple in a place like this if fischer, and very possibly mr saito, were not present.
as i understand, mr saito knows of the recreational as well as financially opportunistic functions of dreamshare. fischer could become a problem, regardless of how we legitimize any dreaming business venture, if he only knows of dreamshare as a threat

Could be. He has no power here in this city, hes completely out of his element and shacked up in an apartment working to make ends meet. depends what youre considering as problematic in this case - his speaking about what other uses dreamshare has, particularly mind crime, could significantly reduce our appeal and subsequent profits, especially considering no one here (to my knowledge) would be aware of its various other uses.
but everyone keeps telling me that we dont remember when we go back, as far as fischer connecting us in our entirety and what he might do with that knowledge after the fact. my previous experiences seem to hold that up well enough but I dont know if the memory comes back over time and are just eventually written off as dementia from old age or not. havent exactly had that opportunity.
Or we could hook him on dreaming in fantasies as a way to relive unresolved issues or lives he wishes to have lead and completely change the negative connotations in his mind. Saito only paid us to incept, not for anything that might happen after the fact.

agreed. to my knowledge he has not made a connection to any of us, yet. taking into account the possibility that he might, if publicizing dreaming were to trigger anything, the repercussions HERE would likely be negligible. he has no company to dissolve, no proof we were ever in contact with him, and no judicial system, at least none that i have seen discounting the deities, to back him were he able to scrounge together some evidence to the contrary.
that being said. inevitably people are going to make uninformed comparisons. should fischer hold only negative opinions of dreaming, he could very well start a panic as to the recreational uses of dreaming. regardless of whether he recognizes us or not, any kind of doubt would be detrimental to the business as an entirely legal venture. the way we handle marketing the dream needs to be prudent and take his word vs public approval into account.
is messing about in his head to change more of his beliefs worth the effort?
[ He doesn't ask if it's safe, because neither of them really know. He doesn't ask if it's the right thing to do, because they both know. ]

oh absolutely. Excellent that we see the same angle
Enabling an addiction would certainly be easier than planting an idea but it would butt up against the work we just completed of him finding his own personal resolution and independence.
but even the most confident men have vices and I have a knack with exploiting them. Robert Fischer's just happened to not necessarily be beautiful blondes at the time, greif and distraction taken into account.
If anything it would test the strength of our plant.

businessman suits me better than employee
perhaps following him would be best, before we make any moves to publicize. you or arthur could look into it- not sure how, but figure out how he would likely take it. that will give us a little more information as to how to go about this. setting up in the overground would reach more clients but the underground reaches just as many and then some, if this place is anything like home.
perhaps mr saito would be interested in making an investment?

setting up any entertainment industry in the Underground is going to be presumed to be shady from the start, however. But yes I'll keep up with Fischer and see what his current habits are - if he's already on an uncertain spiral i dont think using dreams will be too far from his reach. there are plenty of desires left for a person like him even if we may have resolved the hole between him and his father, but theres still his mother to take into account.
Who knows. maybe he could just want to be a proper son.
more than likely. The man's an arcade fiend as it is and if we keep it clean as to not tarnish his honor publically.

sounds good. assuming everything looks gold with fischer, damage control for intravenous consumption of chemicals shouldn't be too difficult to market legitimately. not here, at least. weirder things have happened.
maybe even market it as stress relief? therapeutic.
his funding would be beneficial, especially if tony is opposed to leasing the lab for outside work. though if we could get stark's backing, people would be less inclined to listen to fischer, should anything happen down the road.

will do. for the sake of keeping everything controlled until we have a more concrete plan, any test runs with stark will be done here at the house. are there any objections to that?
[ Tony is a smart man, but Yusuf doesn't trust him to leave a technology like dreamshare alone. He doesn't want it confiscated or hastily replicated, regardless of how brilliant Tony Stark is.
Also, Arthur seems rather absent from this conversation- it isn't Yusuf's place to ask why, so he doesn't. ]

that's fine and understandable.
[ To be honest, Eames isn't certain whether or not Arthur would approve of it - a difference between using the dream for extortion and using the dream for addictive entertainment; an exploitation of a new kind. ]
